We are a “Membership by Application” organization.
Our goal is to establish a voting membership and 'ally' (non-voting) members based on our bylaws.

We have multiple types of membership:
- VOTING INDIVIDUAL MEMBER/DIRECTLY IMPACTED: I am a resident (or employee, frequent visitor, etc.) directly impacted by pollution in Hamtramck or on the near east side of Detroit
- VOTING INDIVIDUAL MEMBER: I am not a Hamtramck or near east Detroit resident, but I am a member of an organization that primarily operates and represents individuals in Hamtramck or on the near eastside of Detroit
- VOTING INDIVIDUAL MEMBER: I am not a Hamtramck or near east side of Detroit resident but I am an environmental expert with a focus on Hamtramck and/or the near east side of Detroit
- VOTING ORGANIZATION MEMBER: Our organization primarily operates and represents individuals on the near east side of Detroit. We will designate an official voting member upon approval of our Organization's membership.
- NON VOTING ALLY: I do not want to be a voting member. OR I am a concerned person or member of an organization that does NOT primarily operate in Hamtramck or on the near east side of Detroit. (May be a state or national organization).

Once you fill out the application, the DH Coalition Board of Directors will review your application. Membership applicants will be voted on at all scheduled monthly Coalition meetings. You will be informed by email when your membership becomes active.
